The Vatican has officially blessed this special cross…

The official blessing of the late Pope John Paul II has been granted to this beautiful replica of the original golden cross received by Pope John X in the year 919 as a part of the treasures sent to him by King Henry I on his ascension to the throne.

The diamond at the centre of the cross symbolises the city of Rome (Urbi), whilst the 4 diamonds set at the extremities represent the world globe (Orbi).

The back of the cross shows the ‘Urbi et Orbi’ engraving and the Pope’s official crest.

Expertly crafted in 14 carat gold by master goldsmiths and carefully hand set with 5 brilliant-cut diamonds and 6 dark blue sapphires.

Approx. size of cross 25 x 42mm
